If there really where Nazis in the #fediverse I think I would want to talk to them and find out why they feel that way, not ban them.

There has been ongoing conversation because a newer instances wants to ban offensive accounts. Nazis are just an example in this case.

@gomerx There's however a difference between discussing something and arguing senselessly. If someone runs into a room, shouting shit and not listening to anyone else's point of view then that person should be thrown out. Perhaps you're just not used to some of the more senseless internet discussions that can appear and destroy communities because they're not moderated…

@ghostdancer @gomerx Sometimes it's just not worth taking the time to educate some people. We got a new word for this in Swedish recently btw, describing these kinds of lost hopes, that means essentially "fact resistent".

Right. And anyone can subscribe to the them. I'm not sure how easy it is to block one account from an entire instance.

I made the mistake of thinking people where interested in my opinion. I get silly sometimes.
