   Do you still have an old version, if yes, which one and downloaded from what site/system?

     @ostfriese This is not AndStatus application problem. AndStatus does nothing during its installation. But maybe Play Store couldn't force stop it?!...
     1. Reboot you phone and retry.
     If this doesn't help then:
     1. Start from creating data backup in Settings -> Storage
     2. Uninstall old version.
     3. Restart your phone.
     4. Install the latest version from Google play
     5. Launch and restore backup.
     6. Report here.
