     @kzimmermann Think of it this way: Whatever technology the VPN could use to mask itself, Tor could (and would) as well.
     
     What you might want to do if you want to mask tor usage is use an obfs4 proxy or whatever they were called. They are usually used to break out of firewalled environments. @ln5 probably knows more about that than I do!
