   @voylinux You need to upload it somewhere - preferrably to the node, but any http-accessible URL works (like a CDN) - and then include an "Atom media extension" that has the URL together with content type. I'll boot my laptop soon and put together a curl example.

     @voylinux As mentioned, you can upload to whichever CDN you want, or you can do an AJAX request to the ApiMediaUpload action, generally /api/statusnet/media/upload (I don't think that URL is discoverable via host-meta currently, but I think I will make it so!
