It's a tool to do a job. They're big enough that they can use Linux for some things and still not contaminate Windows (with freedom).

If you use Linux in your application and distribute it, the law requires certain freedoms. But maybe that's not what you refer to.

Sure. The impact of this will be small. But maybe a few people will find out that free software can be better and investigate more.
