Says I'm from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I guess that's not too far off. These days I think the differences aren't as pronounces as they where.

I meant "pronounced" but considering the topic, either is kind of ironic.

Yes, my map was pretty boring. The Midwest seems to have few regional pronunciations left.

It's pretty boring. If you go north a bit people start to sound more Canadian. Which is more interesting.

Barack Obama is from Illinois, which is almost Indiana. He's pretty representative of a Midwestern accent.

Indiana is very close to Kentucky. :) Here in Cincinnati I'm very close to both. You never know what you'll hear.
