   Today is my lucky day! Bricked a router just resetting its NVRAM, infinite flashes on the power LED. Read that it might just be a bad power brick. Had a slightly heftier brick from an ATA I wasn't using (same voltage, more current); still a flashing power LED. Start reading about JTAG and building my own cable; glance over at the router, and the LEDs are solid on! I can haz WebUI again! !openhardware

     This might explain why my Internet has been cutting in and out for the last four years...

     #OpenWRT flashing went mostly OK, but needed a power cycle to recover. And then the infinite flashes on the power LED started again. OpenWRT LuCI WebUI came up OK, but I config changes didn't seem to go well. Finally the router stopped responding altogether. Now it is a brick again. I haz a sad.
