Just found out that SMU is ditching Blackboard. I would say "I told you so," but since I already said it in 2010 there is no need to repeat it. This is why I don't use University-provided proprietary learning management systems. I stick to good old open-source HTML and LATEX, and write my own Javascript code to automate lecture and material release on my teaching website.
