Gonna 'yum erase pulseaudio-libs' on my headless database server with no sound hardware and see what happens.

Nothing. Removes Java as a dependency. Why do I have any pulseaudio in a default RHEL install on a headless VM?
-
'yum erase libX11' shed another 40 useless packages. To be fair I could do a minimal install and build from there, but removing X be enough
-
*should be enough

Really it's because leaving it in means fewer complaints. Since Fedora is doing the development they leave a lot of desktop stuff in.
