Suddenly a wild idea occurred to me: I might want to re-configure Dennis (laptop) and instead of 'a' linux install FreeBSD on it. Had a quick look at the FreeBSD Ports Collection Master Index and at least some of my essential software (like DarkTable and XnView) is available. It would give me more variation in what I work with, and good practice since webservers are also often running on *BSD. Thoughts? !fediverse
