    !gnusocial : idea . is it possible to put on each new notice an expiration date. After that date something could delete the notice. Like twitter gnusocial is something for now. The value of old notice is not very hight. I wish I can delete my own notices older than 1 year or maybe less. how hard is it to do it?

      I like that idea! There'd be no guarantee that the data is deleted though, since it'd be up to each node storing the data to remove it. Another idea which I've had previously was that you should set this as a global value for your account - and then it'd prune the timeline for notices which haven't been repeated/favored/conversations which haven't been active in a long…

      @mmn @kris There used to be a SN plugin that deleted all notices older than X time from a single instance's database. I do not know whether it is still maintained or compatible with GS.
