@stigatle Yes, just request .xml instead of .json (or look at the feeds in <head/> when browsing classic view - a tip is to configure your Firefox toolbar to include the RSS icon)

Your home/"all" timeline also has that information (faves and repeats are activities which should show up there).
The "Notifications" is a specific qvitter-hack to store them separately + know if you've seen them. Not available without #qvitter anyway.
(though some sort of notification system like that would be nice to have in core !gnusocial)

I could write together a patch for !qvitter so you get an XML alternative for that timeline. Right now it's only JSON since that's all qvitter requires ;)
