     Spent much of the night mollycoddling a !gNewSense install, only to find that my hardware (HP ProBook) is not fully supported. I suppose I could eventually get the WiFi to connect and the screen to use all the pixels, but why bother messing around with modprobe and its ilk when the problem is likely solved in another distro?      Another lesson from my !Trisquel install: 'rsync ~/*' does NOT back up your .hidden files! Looks like this will be a cleaner install than I anticipated. #OhNoNotAnotherLearningOpportunity

     And another one: !Trisquel uses Abrowser instead of !Firefox, but with v29 I can no longer add a new browser to my v1.0 !selfhosted sync server. So, restore the backup of my .mozilla/firefox folder and 'ln -s firefox abrowser'. Works like a charm; all the old settings restored! #WithFreeSoftwareYoureInControl
