I submitted a report to Adblock Plus https://reports.adblockplus.org/f6321e6b-8f39-496f-a958-890645a3fa8c which showed me that EasyList was circumventing the Element Hiding Helper. I wish that report capability was available as a diagnostic tool without necessarily submitting the report. And there seems to be no way to follow up, or retract that report.
