   Weird; anyone with a suggestion as to why Transmission-gtk does not follow my GTK theme on !Mint !Debian & instead picks some ugly default?

     @schaiba I suspect @johskar is right that it is related to varying GTK versions, perhaps related to the use of wxGTK.

     Almost every GTK app I use on respects KDE settings regarding GTK apps, except Transmission.

     @schaiba you know that #transmission also has a qt version? It's not uniquely a gtk+ application any more
