is there any photo-management software out there that doesn't completely suck? (if you say f-spot i will cut you)

I still use gthumb and manually sort photos into directories....

... but I may have reached a turning-point: between my photo-collection and my MIPS&ARM #cross-dev toolchains, my huge HDD is out of space.

I think the next photo-management tool I might try is rm....

@rozzin Or
mv
them all to an external HD.

problem: terrible software. solution: gnome? *extremely skeptical look*

@drysdam, gthumb is from the #GNOME that you actually liked; but I was commenting more on the breadth of what counts as `photo-management' ☺

Considering some of these fast, big little USB SSDs I just heard about... http://status.hackerposse.com/url/3442

My photo–collection is actually in serious need of pruning—there's a lot of #cruft & #clutter in there I'm pretty sure I don't care about.

I did a big #pruning on my music-collection, a while back; it was very..., dunno—`cleansing', I guess. Life was better afterward.

@rozzin That’s good to hear. Planning to send #sonTwo a box of CDs when I get home. I was gone 17 of last 25 months, so why keep them?
