@nds Which laptop exactly? And does it have Intel or nVidia graphics hardware? Is it an EFI machine? -

yeah I really like Apple hardware, and this little thing has served me well for years. feels like I got my money's worth. -

That's very interesting. I've never tried running Linux on Apple hardware, but some people really swear by it. -

My thesis is that you pay a premium for the Apple brand, and you could instead apply those $$$ to beefier PC hardware for the same price. -
