!debian is there a better disk-burning program than Brasero? I find it lacking - no way to set verify, for instance. I prefer more control. -

@marjoleink as @mbjunior says the best i found is k3b but it comes with a lot KDE dependencies, which i don't like. -

@ghostdancer I'll see - I don't want KDE desktop but won't avoid KDE applications if they're good or just what I need. Same for Gnome. -

i use wodim in command line but for my sister, i installed #xfburn, lightweight as XFCE post-fix suggests, also pretty easy to work :) -

normally gnome-apps are my first choice, but for burning discs I'm using k3b - it's doing a really good job and you can configure a lot! -

I concur; I ditched Brasero when I switched to a minimalist Openbox setup.
