      @r7 thanks - same problem as with CD7DVD writer though: brand name + description but no prod. #. And I suspect brand name means very little

      @r7 hmmm - I found a section about CD/DVD in the wiki but see nothing about card readers. It seems to be connected via USB though...

      @r7 ...wouldn't that make it appear as a normal USB device with several 'drives' for removable media? That's how it looks in Windows

      @r7 I have probably found the card reader (its mfr. lists only one): http://www.recom.nl/RC-DR-03.html - they specify Linux support, too
