   What's the difference between #WebSphere and WebSpehere Liberty? Is it just the release model? wondering if I can test a character set issue with #OpenLiberty.

     I still have an answer to this question, but I do have an OpenLiberty log. Now to try to get it to print Chinese characters

     well, the latest version works just fine on OS X with Java 8...not sure what version of java the customer is using:
