I think I have an ultimate recipe for solving time travel paradoxes in fiction while retaining most of the perks: what if there are many other universes, and the only difference they have with this one and each other is the initial moment in time? The lack of actual time travel automatically eliminates all the issues of time travel like loss of information or consistency issue…

Though I guess this approach break one important part of a time travel ยท which is being able to see the consequences of one's actions on a longer span of time.
So a narrative like in Back to the Future cannot be represented with it.

@chimo Well, yea, just as a specific tool to plug some issues of the time travel concept.
It could be seen as "creating new timelines" while travelling, while also not actually creating anything, just throwing out of synch.
