   I have given xquartz and zsh both Full Disk Access, but I still can't use a ssh key. I hate Mac so much.

     I have moved along, but the ultimate issue remains: The issue with jconsole is that it does not work when forwarding X sessions to my work-provided Mac. I can't get to the server from a home machine, so idk. I could, in theory, set up a VM. I could also try a different X provider other than XQuartz. I also have access to a work Windows machine.
