#gnome, #kde, #xfce... that's only add-ons to the system... I use #AwesomeWM and I know so good - that's not good choice for #newbies -

@lukaso666 #Debian ships with lots of defaults. It ships with a commandline tool to manage defaults. Why a default shell but not a GUI? -

@lukaso666 shure, !debian is free and you can switch to other windowmanagers easily - but #gnome is installed as default these days. -

I don't think I agree on this one. On the contrary: Because e.g. #Debian has sensible defaults, one is capable of customizing where needed. -
