   I'm curious how your phone bill can reach such high costs. Is cellular usage just extremely expensive where you are? Can't you reduce this cost by using free of charge, preferrably libre licensed, internet services for just about everything you do over the phone?

     @i_am_journei Well my point was that if you primarily communicate over the internet then only data traffic is an issue, which is essentially gratis (wifi available almost everywhere etc.). I'm sure the campus wifi can be improved, maybe you could talk to the technicians about where there is bad reception etc. Phone contracts are designed to be costly. $120 bucks is a …
