   @Gargron @moonman A suggestion to #WebSub (seen in the wild) is to publish 410 Gone. Hard to mistake for a server failure. Not sure which direction that was for though, but should reasonably work in both.

     @moonman Yes, 410 means never coming back and that's why it's such a good choice. With good URI/URL design it will never come back.
