   Yeah, back to the queuedameons for now.  The redis queue is definitely causing federated messages from some instances to not be received.

     For example:
     Turn on Redis queue, immediately stop seeing messages from @archaeme 
     Turn off Redis queue, immediately start getting messages from @archaeme again
     
     Not sure what causes that.  Will have to put a lot more logging information of what's happening in redis to common_log
