The Russian hacking allegations kind of is the coping mechanism of the United States democrats in the face of the election results. They are an external face to their problems that for some reason or another has credibility as a source of their problems they can shove fault and responsibility for the election onto so the DNC doesn't have to admit the reason they failed is much, much closer to home than the Kremlin.
