The grenadier section in the Assault on Terek Nor is second only to attunement grinding in WoW in terms of being pure concentrated misery.

@nerthos They basically needed you to sink literally a month into the game doing nothing but attunement quests for hours on end.

@nerthos Someone did the math and on average you had to do the same quest repeatedly for 156 hours straight to get attunement.

@nerthos Most of them got removed with Cataclysm because people hated them, but with Legion they reintroduced it, they just call it another name.

@nerthos I know people who have been grinding since Legion was released months ago who still dont have enough Stuff TM to get into the new Kazarkan thing they introduced.

@nerthos And lets not even mention to get working flying mounts back again you have to _literally_ 100% achievements in the expansion.

@nerthos That is EXACTLY what they are doing. I called this out in the Warlords of Draenor expansion where they did this, too. Legion is even worse. You have to do a bunch of grindtastic achievements just to get the NORMAL land mount speed boosts back, let alone flying mounts.

@nerthos Basically, they're trying to extend the play time of the new expansions artificially, rather than expending the time and money neccesary to develop compelling content.
