@gameragodzilla The saltwater will also slightly desensitize that region so it will be less sensitive to that so even if it doesnt go away with it, it will help in that respect.

@gameragodzilla Stuff that helps you breathe better will be the trick with that. The cough reflex is your body's reaction to thinking it has something preventing it from breathing properly. An aromatic tea or those vapor rub things are your best bets.

@gameragodzilla But even just a hot drink can help.

@gameragodzilla Usually a sign your tonsils are inflamed. If you do a saltwater mouthwash a few times of day for like 2-3 days it'll clear that up if that's the case.

@gameragodzilla It feels like its at the back of your throat king of thing right? I forget the proper term, it's been way too long since I was taking my medicine classes, but that's where like, the base, or root, of the nerves in the tonsils are. There's a few other things that could also cause it but you'd be a lot sicker if you had emphazemia (sp?) so, yeah, its…

@gameragodzilla If you find that helps that by the way, it doesn't hurt anything to do the saltwater rinse more than 2-3 times a day (other than taking your time away doing it of course)
When I have that kind of thing going I just leave the table salt box and a glass in the bathroom. Just mix some up with some hot water and gargle and it helps.
