A little humility about your place in life goes a long way. I wouldn't be where I am without the support of great friends and excellent readers who support my work and support me personally. What bothers me the most about a lot of creators is they take those people for granted.

I'll never be big enough to do a convention or some shit, much as that'd be neat, but it would be cool to actually meet up with my readers sometime.

I wouldn't trade the sense of community Highland Arrow's readership has compared to most other publications for the world.

@purplehippo Fame changes people, really. Hell getting the executive position at my old retail position changed me too. The question is whether it's for the better. And as far as internet or youtube fame goes, a lot of people tend to get in that whole echo chamber or bubble effect, and it just reinforces their worst impulses.
