@purplehippo He cares about his soldiers and treats them like other human beings and you'd be surprised how much of a difference that makes. A lot of generals and admirals, especially those whom have never served in active combat (which is a surprising many of them worldwide), tend to treat the rank and file soldiers just as numbers on some paper.

@purplehippo Mattis and Trump will be a very, very interesting dynamic to keep an eye on, because Mattis is not intimidated by anyone, so he won't be afraid to just tell Trump off if he feels he's doing something he thinks is unwise.

@purplehippo Gonna be honest, though ... Trump is probably counting on it. He knows he's new to this political arena. He's seeking people whom are very experienced in their respective fields, to carry him.

@purplehippo A few of them are not really nice people, but honestly, running a country isn't about being nice, its about doing what's best for the country. Whether this cabinet will end up able to do that, well, time will tell. All we can do now is speculate.
