I really do try to keep money for a rainy day, probably to a fault, and the latter is why I sometimes just look at myself and say, you know what, its okay to spend money on your own enjoyment, too.
I mean even the vidya is for "work", so not even that's divorced from it.

A lot of the stuff I complain about not having money for comes down to not so much not having money I could spend on it, but rather, knowing that money should be spent on something else. For instance, it's hard to justify buying game titles for 100$ a pop when I could feed myself for probably like a month and a half on that, if not longer.

@purplehippo 50 bucks these days for an EARLY ACCESS indie game. I think a lot of people seem to forget the appeal of Early Access in its infancy, before Steam basically stole that idea, was games like KSP or Mount & Blade having the increasing price model where as they built up the game it got more expensive before finally reaching a predetermined final retail pric…
