@takeshitakenji I wouldn't worry too much about maintenance, I plan on implementing it as the mainstay caching method as is.

@takeshitakenji As to whether to just interface the python or to have it pure PHP, well that's your call since its your thing, but the former is probably(?) easier

@takeshitakenji Compatability is PHPs bugbear, since it has to have backwards compatability with some really naff old versions (apparently)
