Most of my proprietary software I do use is out of the late 90s and early 2000s and Linux software still doesn't offer anything near as nice as most of them. I don't feel like adding hours to any particular workflow just for some sort of ideological purity.

@purplehippo The GIMP even after its overhaul is a classic example of a tool being made by someone who obviously has never actually used and understood the tool in its actual workflow. I dont think a single graphic designer has been involved in that project's UX design at any case, and if they were, they should probably be deeply ashamed of themselves.
