@katiekats Which one specifically? I mean, there's been a few.

@katiekats That was going to get through under Cameron anyways so it's not exactly news or specifically a Theresa May thing, but she definitely wasn't going to stop it either, no.

@katiekats British Conservatives resent what they cannot control. If its something they cannot subvert or control, it should be destroyed as far as they are concerned.

@katiekats Ironically, the Conservative Party of Canada were doing a lot to defend the neutrality of the web. With the Liberals in now, there's a significant push to censor online speech to filter out "online harassment" and "hate speech"

@katiekats The Conservatives in Canada are basically classical liberals with a slight left bent on some issues, the Liberals in Canada are basically moderate social justice types (though becoming less and less moderate), the Bloc Quebecois are a Quebec soveriegnist party (think BNP/SNP but for Quebec), and the New Democratic Party are literally communists.

@katiekats They're are the best, in the sense of out of the options available they are superior to the others, but like any other choice in politics, even the best choice ain't great.
Given the UK and USA right now though, I'd take it over that shit.
