Let me make something absolutely clear: You are making, according to the US DoL, a median wage of 96k a year, and you feel that this is unjust compensation for the "dangers" of a job working from home talking into a microphone for a few hours a day?
How about we talk about compensation for tradespeople, whose jobs have actual danger? Electrical linesmen? Coal miners? Industrial sanitation workers? No?

Lets compare how many people die on the job in those professions compared to voice acting, or hell, even acting in general. Then we can talk about "dangers of the job"

@verius No kidding. Don't get me wrong I think that everyone deserves compensation for their work but this is ridiculous. I made less when I was a LEA when I started, and "cop" is a much more dangerous job description than "voice actor" ever will be.

@verius The pay is moderate in Canada. Decent, but not really reflective of the risks. Some parts of the states the pay is really shitty though, so it comes as no surprise that the cops there are crooked, its about the only "perk" to the job at that point, the power over others. Meanwhile, these voice actors make bank...
