   I have tried to not be overly negative about twitter alternatives because Not Twitter, but if it doesn't free you from centralized control, long-term it's a dead end.

     @augustus Same reason why if you think Trump is the second coming of Hitler but you still demand your anti-fascist organizing should happen on Facebook because nobody's gonna use GNU Social. Everything's a game to most people.
