   When git.gnu.io unfucks itself I might have some postgres related updates if I can be bothered.  Today is not doing great for me.  Maybe I should take a second dose of the antipsychotics.

     What Im trying to do in that regard is slowly implement some of the changes of @mikael's branch to track down exactly what causes the mysql iffiness so that code can be isolated and fixed.
