    @strypey I believe the #deletionists undermine the value of #Wikipedia. I've read some pretty bruising threads on to-be-deleted articles. It seems that deletionists also chase away (potential) contributors.

      The #Wikipedia #deletionists were the biggest complaint we had during a Q&A session in 2011 with then-Executive Director Sue Gardner. Nothing got changed, a Toronto Wikipedia users chapter was never set up, and shortly afterwards the Wikipedians mailing list was cancelled in favour of (Yahoo or Google) groups.
