@tiodude It doesn't support HTML composing, which I need sometimes and it doesn't let you do anything when it's checking for mail, annoying -

Yes, it does tend to freeze up, that is true - but I find Thunderbird infuriating. Did you check Geary?=> http://bit.ly/geary_linuxnov -

for the blocking on mail retrieval I switched to just fetchmail and procmail. emacs wanderlust and kmail then both just read the maildir. -

@mjjzf I like geary's minimalistic approach but I think it still needs time. currently it doesn't even support email attachments. -

glad to :) I switched to it, when my experimental kmail2 broke badly and I decided that I always want a backup. Now I use wanderlust more…
