I just ordered 2x30m cheap Chinese paracord. What should I do with it?

@mcscx How far is it to ISS, about 400km? 400*10³/30 = 13333 pieces, at about 4 USD per piece it's just slightly more than 50k USD.

According to the specification 30m weighs 220g, so just about 3000kg. At a max pulling capacity of 250kg (~2500N) I think maybe it'd snap.

@mcscx Dang, that's about 100 times longer. But while we're at it, scaling our project up, if we get a rope that's just 1000 times longer than the ISS distance, we could tie it to the moon! With a moon-connected rope we could just connect the earth-end of the rope to a stone or something and have it fly through the air here on Earth. And when the swing passes by your n…

@mcscx One problem with the idea about having that rope with a stone swinging around is that the moon's apo-/perigee differ about 50Mm, which is about 4x the diameter of the Earth. So we will have to tie down @moonman and gradually stabilise the orbit for our end to stay inside the atmosphere at all.
