   This is interesting. I told #sonOne that I was considering a position with #sonTwo’s employer at almost a 50% pay cut. He replies with an opening at his employer for only a 25% cut.
   
   They are 2.5 to 3 hours apart, and I want to see #GS3 nearly every day, so we’ll have to see.

   @musicman Good \@question! I never mention social sites to potential employers (nor generally in any work related situation), but I’ve never considered anything like a “community manager” or “product evangelist” position. The only person I know who has even done something similar is @sean.

   Figured out how to get a reloadable tracking page on the #UPS site. Remove “/trackdetails” from the end of the URL, then append something like “&nothing=else” ... when the site adds back the “/trackdetails” to the end, it changes an unused parameter instead of the tracking number.
   
   Kind of annoyed with the person who decided to rewrite the URL that way, when they could easily have done what I just did.

    Full disclosure: Except for my sophomore and senior years, I did almost no homework from fifth grade onward. I hated school so much that I was not about to bring it home with me. (10th grade year was because family was sacrificing already scarce meals in order to send me to a school that was not gang-infested; 12th grade was because "I'd hate to mess this up at the very end of such a long journey".)

    #sonOne told me that he went to a parent conference for #GD1, where he learned that she's on track to earn to two "F" grades, one "D-" grade, and one "D" grade. She was playing games instead of doing homework. Naturally, they've taken her electronics and now she has to do her homework in the kitchen instead of her room.
