    There was a guy in line in front of me the other day that looked to me like he was almost a decade older than I am. Turns out he's around my age. Then another guy called me "young man". I started to tell him my age, but before I could, he said "I call everyone young if they are not seventy-five like I am".
    
    It was much easier back when 30-35 was the beginning of middle age and 45-50 was the beginning of old age.

    @geniusmusing When one of my brothers joined USAF, he was sent to a base back East, where there was only one other person known to be from #SoCal. The guy told everyone his home was "near Los Angeles" ... it was a small town in the Coachella Valley ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wikiCoachella_Valley ) area of far eastern #Riverside County.
    
    By that measure, most or all of SoCal is near #Los_Angeles.

    @mangeurdenuage I don't remember #Firefox taking a psrticulsrly long time to compile, but #Chromium did seem to take a while. Nothing compares to the week I once spent waiting for #Ruby to compile on a box with a really slow Celeron, 128MiB of RAM.
