   and for the script you want: I don't do this part via scripting, but there are tools (in many programming languages) which can scrape html pages (e.g.Wikipedia). Look for those which use Wikipedia's API to stay safe against future html changes

    @lg found it (1) and I still think the contact-import script should work for normal users too. The problem I see though is, that you have no running SN with all your contacts (which you would put in the identi.ca section instead).     Playing in the #codec area fixed it for me (1), my old videos play nicely in html5.
