   the idea came from @coyo (I believe) who mentioned a "netizen enclave" recently. a distributed enclave is a bit of an oxymoron, but that was the idea in my head at the time...not with a lot of detail attached to "enclaveness" but "federation" captured a sense of togetherness

   empowerment.pro is on $5 but we'd have to file the paperwork with the IRS before we could get it. Any thoughts on when I should set a deadline for a name?

    http://empowerment.org/ appears to be available. I have never bought a domain name except through Dreamhost and have never moved a domain name. I wouldn't want to keep it with GoDaddy.

    did you see the first in the series (about Wikipedia)? I think I had a paper due that day or something and didn't go. It's easy to find on YouTube on the UNH Law page.

    I don't know if competing in the double-f space with EFF and FSF is a good idea. I haven't heard any opposition to #NEF, unless that's what @mv was doing, which I don't think it was.

    also, for the time being, I don't think a domain name is of particular importance. I think getting a name and then filing are more important. I just wanted to make sure he didn't change his mind about the name.

    I have no idea if others feel this way, but when talking about litigation, I feel like you have to think about actors. You can't sue/prosecute a verb. I wish I had more time to think about the distinction though.
