   @nrlucre of course, I did a little piece on VARA so we can chop that out. MIT doesn't touch that though. I'm thinking we should focus on new cases. That is, maybe we should do "copyright since 2006," which is when the MIT course was released

   @nrlurce so, MIT has an ~7.5-hour course which is an overview of copyright, which I a ~5 hours (I skipped some of their stuff on LexisNexis), so I'm wondering what we can do. I guess they spend 2 hours on music and 2 hours on software. Still seems a daunting task

   I've never used MIT's OpenCourseWare before, I don't think. I quite like it, even if it is really effing up my schedule!

    unless you are making an argument that our podcast is a derivative work of their podcast or something like a sequel to their podcast, but personally I think that's silly.

    CC doesn't have anything to do with this. CC does not apply to trademarks, which is what TINAP is. Also, I highly doubt they have registered in the US and I think we could argue they aren't using it in commerce. That said, it's the right thing to do and we should.
