   it's possible (though unlikely considering when ABA accreditation came) that she did not have to take the LSAT, which lends some credence to your theory.

    so, looked up the school. I was mostly right. She graduated the same year the school got ABA accreditation. California has a bunch of law schools that aren't really law schools in the way the rest of the country understands the word.

    big firms tend to hire from the most highly ranked schools. It's more-or-less a nepotism thing. I've never read a Grisham novel, so can't comment

    if it was something she wanted to do and had the money, by all means...but having to move out of your home because you're stubborn as a mule. Diminishing returns is about the best that can be said.

    regardless, it's pretty impossible to be too terrible on standardized tests since the LSAT is one of the largest factors in law school admissions. Plus, you have tests in every class for three years. If she couldn't do tests, she wouldn't have graduated.
