@benfell Thanks for writing this. I thought the race was mostly about the use of fear tactics to allow the candidates to make the case "vote for me or you're stuck with him / her" ... between the star of a once popular TV series and one of the most widely disliked #pollies of the past 50 years. I voted for neither and frankly thought she would win despite twentyfive years of scandals.

@gargron If you think either candidate is willing to launch nukes precipitously (or even threaten to do so) you've listened to too many political pressure groups and not enough to the #pollies themselves. It is not even a realistic thing to fear.
