Thanks! Now !gnusocial , I've got another problem: For some reason it wants plugin php executables to be in /usr/share/php . But they're in the plugin hierarchy. Why is it doing this?
-
So where is the !gnusocial source these days? The git source I have gets an SSL error. And how do I change the source?

Is there anyway to see posts from one particular person from my instance instead of visiting their instance?

@mmn this is the same problem that I've reported at this conversation
https://quitter.es/notice/1151869
!gnusocial has a feature to allow applications connect to your account via oauth. And this feature does not work at quitter.es
In my case I try to connect with a Friendica account but it's the same problem with Hubzilla.
You can find more details at the previous conversation.

Added easy access to information returned by the API. I get the feeling there's just too much info missing at the moment to make a 100% api client !gnusocial https://git.gnu.io/buttle/gnusocial-browser

../api/statuses/show/.. returns a notice object. #qvitter nodes return it with a useful external_url variable included, but vanilla !gnusocial nodes don't. :(

@dolus I think it would be a good strategy to focus promotion of !gnusocial towards the folks who are likely to be interested in decentralisation, liberty, censorship resistance, union organising, free software and so on.
