Charles de Gaulle Airport was a breeze. Because I travel WAY too much, I have platinum status on American. I checked an over-weight bag at no cost (26.5kg), got the purple-orange "No.1" priority lane ticket, cruised through passport control, cruised through bag inspection, and now am parked at the American AIrlines Club sipping a coffee and enjoying a mini pain au chocolate. If only the 10-hour flight were not ... you know ... 10 hours long. :-)
